Launch at Melbourne Fashion Week as part of Makers Lane Runway and Pop-Up
Les Plantes made its official debut at Melbourne Fashion Week as part of the Melbourne Made runway and Pop-Up, unveiling its inaugural Perennial collection, a selection of minimalist, ethically-made, exclusively plant-based and plastic-free workwear and tailoring designed for comfort and circularity.
Forging a path for the intellectually curious, Les Plantes is rooted in a circular design philosophy. All products are conceptiualised and made entirely in Australia with the exception of our knitwear which is produced in a Fairtrade-accredited facility in India.
Rejecting trends, we focus on creating timeless, minimalistic, and lasting garments to empower leaders and changemakers, offering a design practice grounded in academic research, ecological responsibility and fearless, unwavering advocacy. Each garment is crafted exclusively from plant-based fabrics and materials and constructed for easy end-of-life management (more on textile and garments recycling in this blog posts). Think of us as your plant-derived capsule wardrobe destination.
